I've managed to get my SQLite database to appear in descending order by a score column, but the thing is i think it's recognising the column as a string instead of an int because it comes up in this order:

7, 6, 4, 2, 1, 19,

and i have no idea how to change it, even though i'm sure it's something pretty simple. here's my current code:

}

you are putting KEY_SCORE as string. notice that score type is String.

probably you should use this

cv.put(KEY_SCORE, Integer.parseint(score));

Edit:

Also change the code where are you extracting the value. i.e

 rankResult = rankResult + c.getString(iRow2) + "\n"; 

to

rankResult = rankResult + Integer.toString(c.getInt(iRow2)) + "\n"; 

also drop your table and recreate it again.

Hi sorry for the late reply, I don't have Internet at the moment ! I tried changing the edited part and it errors on the .toString bit saying its not applicable for the arguments (String).. –  Carla Dessi Jul 1 '12 at 11:25
