I am downloading from a server using AsyncTask class. Sometimes my code works fine, and sometimes it throws an exception.

I have not done anything UI related in the backgroud, Usually this comes only we do something UI related. But I don't know why is it happening.And Cause is IllegalCastException. –  Hema Jun 29 '12 at 6:10
    
The cast exception could be pointing to a de-serialisation issue. Do you cleanse and validate data before transmission? Does that give you a place to look at? –  Preet Sangha Jun 29 '12 at 6:22
