I have developed a mapview with a list view and I need to get the nearby places (within 1km) to display on the list.

GeoP = lat, long of the current user coordinates which gets from gps.

How can I do this?

I think I should get the current position, that is GeoP and Json should sort according to distance between each location. How to code this?

How do you store your places? External database, SQLite, as custom Objects? How do you store the lat and lng values? –  MichaƂ K Jul 6 '12 at 7:49
