I am new to Assembly language and I'm getting a problem with the DIV operation.

This should output the quotient and remainder if a 1-digit number is divided to a 1-digit number. What is wrong with my code?

8-bit division using DIV instruction requires AX for dividend and an operand for the divisor.

I've corrected the division part of the code and the stack size. Stack size should be at least 1000, or your program might crash due to insufficient stack storage. Below is the code.

Everything you did in your program is right except one. Division operation uses up the AX register. If you are dividing using AL only, It is an utmost necessity that you must first clear the AH register. If AH has a pre value stored in it, AX register will include that value and the final value of AX would be different than what you expect it to be :)

Also if you aren't using Jumps, Call, Push or Pop, It is unnecessary to use the stack segment so you may delete it :)
