How to reassign an approver to a workflow when the user currently assigned is out of the office and unable to respond?

Is this possible with SharePoint out of the box (no custom code required)?

How would you ascertain that the user was Out Of The Office and not just ignoring the email or taking a while to respond? – Charlie Jul 21 '09 at 15:53
SharePoint integrates with Microsoft Exchange. Would like to know when the user has set up that they are "out of office" in microsoft exchange. If they are out of office and are an "approver" in a SharePoint workflow, I want the system re-assign their work to another approver who is not out of office. – s_mph Jul 21 '09 at 16:42
