Is it possible to prevent the user from selecting a date in the past when using the bootstrap datepicker?

I tried using .datepicker({ minDate: 0 }), but it doesn't seem to be working.

.done(function (response) {
                        view.data = response;
                        $pageHeader.after(view.options.template(response));
                        view.$('.datepicker:not([readonly])')
                            .datepicker({ minDate: 0})
                            .on('changeDate', function () {

Have you tried mindate : new Date(), which returns current date time? –  Andre Jul 26 '12 at 14:34

minDate isn't an option for bootstrap datepicker but you could probably override datepicker:

Use this fork from the bootstrap datepicker https://github.com/eternicode/bootstrap-datepicker

and put in some simple logic to update the endDate's startdate when startdate is changed

$('#start_date').datepicker().on('changeDate', function(ev){
  $('#end_date').datepicker('setStartDate', ev.date);
});
