Could someone tell me what is causing the second bunch of errors as well?

1. When an app start in Android its on Dedicated UI thread, creation of any other thread will drop you off this UI thread.

2. It was advisable to have the UI work on the UI thread, and Non-UI work on Non-UI thread, but that became a law since the arrival of HoneyComb version of Android.

3. This error indicates that you are modifying the UI from the Non-UI thread.

4. Use thread with Handler, or AsyncTask which has been specially introduced in Android to sync the UI and Non-UI thread.

Oh. That sounds complicated to fix - damn you Google.... So, would this work on android 2.1,2.2,2.3 etc? I am testing it on 4.0.4 - is that why this error is occuring now, but when I used a similar code this didn't happen? – Liam W Jul 27 '12 at 10:15
