I found this code online .. and I wanted to try it >

However, when I try to run the code, I found this error .. I checked the code in the OpenCV tutorial as well and they are almost exactly the same until the findhomography part.

OpenCV Error: Unsupported format or combination of formats
(type=0) in buildIndex_, file OpenCV-2.3.1/modules/flann/src/miniflann.cpp,
line 297 terminate called after throwing an instance of 'cv::Exception' what()
OpenCV-2.3.1/modules/flann/src/miniflann.cpp:297: error:
(-210) type=0 in function buildIndex_

Any ideas what could went wrong here ?

Do you have two cameras connected ? Did you check that you can open both of them simultaneously ? Why are you using an old version of OpenCV ? How about adding some error checking ? – Paul R Aug 8 '12 at 8:50
yes, I have test it in different code where I fetch videos from 3 different cameras at the same time and it works fine! which version you are referring to ? 2.4.1 ? I don't think it is a versioning problem, do u ? – user573014 Aug 8 '12 at 9:06

my boss suggested restarting the computer, since I was using USB-cameras.. he said sometimes you need to restart it in some linux systems like Ubuntu for it to work again! and guess what? it really did work after restarting my computer!!!!!!!!!

are you trying exactly the same code? because sometimes it terminates because there is no matches between images.. – user573014 Feb 28 '13 at 8:13
Yes exactly, it terminates because there was not matches and this because my camera frames were not correctly treated, i didn't find solution but changing by cam which gone well. – Houssem Bdr Feb 28 '13 at 8:50
