I have gotten the SPS in NALU ( AVC Decoder Configuration Record ), and trying to parse the video width / height from it.

This is my code parse the SPS but gets the wrong values. pic_width_in_mbs_minus1 is 5, and pic_height_in_map_units_minus1 is 1. Actually the video is 512 X 288px

Oh, yes, I didn't know the SPS in AVC Decoder Configuration Record is wrapped by another NAL header. Now I get correct values, but I don't make any convertion from NAL => RBSP, need I? thank you very much –  user325320 Aug 18 '12 at 14:43
    
You seem to be doing it right. If you have this NAL from byte stream with prefix codes, you might had to take care of checking emulation byte prevention first. –  Roman R. Aug 18 '12 at 14:49
