I know it's bad to post a second question this soon, but I feel that I don't have a choice as I've been bashing my head at this for quite some time. I think I need a pair of fresh eyes to look at this. (Yes, it's an assignment)

So the problem is this. Two queues, with a random number of new customers arriving every time step. They each get a service-time (the time it will take at the cashier). The program runs fine until it's time for a customer to leave the queue. The number of customers in the queue no longer match the printout. After this, no one leaves the queue. It just keeps getting longer and longer. (I know that using a double linked list was probably overkill from my part :)

Ah yes, sorry about that. My best guess is that the problem lies in the customerLeaving-function, and that it is somehow not shifting over to the next person in line when the first customer leaves. –  koldrakan Aug 22 '12 at 13:29

Without having run your code, you never seem to update your two queue heads HeadCU and HeadCU2 after a customer has left one of the queues. Yet you continue to check these two variables.

maybe I misunderstood you, but isn't that what line 148-152 is doing? Customer *Temp = HeadCU; Temp = Temp->next; klarkund->next->prev = HeadCU; klarkund->prev = NULL; –  koldrakan Aug 22 '12 at 13:36
    
Nothing on those lines sets the HeadCU pointer to anything. You just delink the customer. HeadCU will still be pointing to whatever it was pointing to when those lines have run. –  Dervall Aug 22 '12 at 13:42
