I subclassed WebClient to gain more control over what it does (change the Timeout, plus provide an event handler that fires for every 1MB progress). It runs continually (once / minute) polling data from an XML source and works fine most of the time. Once in a while, however, I get an ObjectDisposedException that I do not understand. I'll post what I believe are the relevant parts with comment first, then post the entire source code for reference.

DownloadProgressChanged Event Handler & Dispose

The ObjectDisposedException happens on the last line of this handler. Variables are in the state indicated in comments.

Usage

Clearly, from time to time, MyWebClient is disposed in the middle of the MyWebClient_DownloadProgressChanged event handler. However, the object should not be disposed until the download is complete. How can this be happening?
