In the app control panel I found an error report that not only I can't reproduce, but also it make no sense to me.

This is the stacktrace:

An this is the code where the exception occour:

I wonder how the instruction "nextItem = resultList.get(int);" can raise this exception since resultList is defined as ArrayList and nextItem is an object of type RollResult[]...

It may depend on how Android serialize and deserialize instance state data to bundles?

Here how the serialization is done:

Was the code trying to read serialized data from an older version (which wrote Object arrays instead of properly typed ones)? –  Thilo Aug 27 '12 at 12:21
    
Generics are only a compile-time thing. If an Object is being added to the ArrayList at runtime through reflection, unsafe casting or maybe (though I'm not sure on this) deserialization, the error will not be noticed until you try to assign that Object to a reference of the type it's supposed to be. If you can't reproduce it, maybe an old version stored an incorrect ArrayList on their end. –  Jacob Raihle Aug 27 '12 at 12:52
    
The serialization is made only on the same session so I don't think it is possible that serialization and deserialization are made by different app version. –  Ohmnibus Aug 28 '12 at 11:04
