i am new in android, in my application i need to create database and when user writing some thing into EditText then i need to save it into database but i actually don't know how i am gonna do it. so please somebody help me out.i already create submit button for save the data now i need to create just a database.

here i am giving one of my activity class named "Invitation.java" which contains

now I need to save the data into database for these two EditText.please write a proper or full activities class because i m a new guy. Thank you.

@arnobcorleone First conform yourself whether database is store at server or at android device and if data have to store at android then use sqlite otherwise you can also use mysql database with json api... –  nKandel Sep 5 '12 at 12:01

thank you but your setOnClickListener contains some error which are - 'db', 'helper', 'clean', 'toast' it says - "db cannot be resolved", for toast & clean it shows - "the method clean() & toast() is undefined for the type new View.OnCLickListener(){}". so can i solve this error?? please help me. @Naser –  arnob corleone Sep 2 '12 at 9:04
    
'private SQLiteDatabase db; private DataHelper helper;' and toast() and clean() are user define methods for Toast() and clear the text fields. you can remove these methods and just write Toast(). @arnob –  Naser Sep 3 '12 at 4:58
