I want to work with libftdi in my ARM project. I build libftdi, all examples works fine.

I get "Segmentation fault" than runs that on ARM.

Your program has a .cpp suffix...is this intentional? Maybe try calling it main.c instead? –  nneonneo Sep 18 '12 at 5:43

Hm, yes, either one will do. I recommended C since libftdi is a C library and he is not using any C++ features. –  nneonneo Sep 18 '12 at 5:47
    
that not helps =(. Is there some command to test working of library in linux? probably mistake in building of libftdi, libusb. –  Xaver Sep 18 '12 at 5:53
    
You could use strace to understand the system calls done by your command. And if arm-linux-gcc crashes, pass -v to it and report a bug. –  Basile Starynkevitch Sep 18 '12 at 5:56

Collect a backtrace either by running it in a debugger on the target itself, by using a remote-gdb or by by collecting a core file which can by analyzed on your host system.

I needed to add the flag -pthread to the gcc parameters
