I'm using this ModalityInternalFrame (from here - the used calass's code is at the end of question) for creating modal internal frame over other internal frames.
they have no problem when they are created and showed from a JButton's actionPerformed event but when I create/show them from a actionPerformed event of a JMenuItem it uses 100% of CPU when it is visible!

What is the problem?

I have tried your code with this additional main and it did not cause any problem. Maybe try to post an SSCCE:

Now I checked with other Look And Feels and I found that this only occurs with Nimbus!! can it be a Nimbus's Bug? –  4r1y4n Oct 10 '12 at 20:54
