I'm trying to implement some generic math classes using MiscUtils. The example code, which doesn't use MiscUtils and simply wraps a type has some major performance issues:

Using maths on built in value types are at least 15 times faster. Simply wrapping a value type in a struct is about 2 times slower. Using dynamic to bypass the operator type constraint is around 30 times slower!!!!

My goal is to have a simple class like

class Vector<T> { ... }

and be able to use things like Vector to add a list of T without a significant performance hit(T's will be primitive types).

Results:

Debug Mode with debugging:

Anyways, as can be seen MiscUtils is way slower than expected(site says a few percent) and dynamic is just terrible.

Any ideas what is going on or how to improve the results?
