# FORTRAN midpoint and simpsons rule error using discrete data points [closed]

I am given Cp values along the top surface and bottom surface of an airfoil with respect to the chord. I have 400 data points(x/c, Cp) from the top surface and 400 for the bottom surface. I have been asked to calculate the cl and Cm at the quarter chord. I need to calculate the truncation error for midpoint rule integration and the simpson rule integration. For midpoint, the formula is f'(s)(b-a) and for -f''''(s)/90*((b-a)/2)^5. My question is how do I find f'(s) and f''''(s) when I am given only data points.
