I am developing an android app. I have parsed text and image both in my app using Lazy Loading concept.It work properly till last days but today its give error

Caused by: java.lang.OutOfMemoryError: bitmap size exceeds VM budget

I have a class in which I use bitmap concept

another problem in my app is when I come back from detail page then my image size become very small. How can I handle it?

Try using BitmapFactory Options as

BitmapFactory.Options op=new BitmapFactory.Options();
op.inSampleSize=4;
final Bitmap bitmap = BitmapFactory.decodeStream(stream,null,op);

you can change inSampleSize to 2,4,8...... that is, multiple of 2....but it will reduce the quality –  maninder singh Oct 30 '12 at 12:03
