Just avoid exactly what the Error is telling you.

In [6]: len(text)
Out[6]: 0

In [7]: c
Out[7]: 3

In [8]: 0 / 3
Out[8]: 0

The length of text, being an empty string is returning 0.

A possible fix would be catching the Error and setting len(text) to c.

Seems like your text is empty. Since you have except: return "" in get_page, anything could've happened (a dead link maybe). Add some logging to get_page.

@SilentGhost Thanks... But the problem is while using the parallel process only the error comes. if it is normal search the the whole code works well. –  Priyanka Sumathi Oct 31 '12 at 12:07
