I have very limited Javascript experience (I'm learning it right now) and even less jQuery experience. I found a plugin for adding weather based on the visitors IP address and modified it slightly (the creator didn't know how to convert Celsius to Fahrenheit). It worked great until last week.

Last week it stopped displaying anything except a gray box. There were no changes to my code or the website last week, the weather box just stopped displaying any data. The demo on the source website (http://www.myphpetc.com/2009/11/jquery-weather-widget.html) also doesn't work.

Can someone help me debug it?

Ooh, uses eval directly on the returned data from a cross domain jsonp request, no wonder the "developer" did'nt know how to convert celcius to fahrenheit? –  adeneo Nov 5 '12 at 21:41

Reading through your code very briefly.. I notice some references to google. Google discontinued its API for weather when the decided to shut down iGoogle, its dashboard / personalized page service. So in all, if this code is attempting to communicate with that API, it won't work as its not available anymore as a public API. You ultimately need to seek out another similar weather service/api. Weather.com has a pretty straight forward one which is free, but limited, almost all others I have found otherwise cost money.
