This is one of the questions in our software Engineering paper.I couldn't answer.Can you please help me to solve this?

The following pseudo code program is written to input three numbers as the coefficients of a quadratic equation Ax2+Bx+C =0 and output the roots of the equation.

Input floating point numbers A,B,C

D  =  B2-4*A*C
         If  D>0 then
          {
            Display “Two real roots”
           E=Square root of D
           X1= (-B+E)/(2*A)
           X2= (-B- E)/(2*A)
              Display  X1,X2
           }
        Else
            If  D=0 Then
             {
              Display “Only one root ”       
              X= -B/(2*A)
              Display  X
              }
           Else
              Display  “No real  roots”

           Identify the equivalence classes, test values and test cases for the testing of this program.

I am not sure if this is the answer, the equivalence classes (en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Equivalence_class) will be used to define the test values - the branches in this code. The delta value (D) is used as if conditions (i.e. branching). Therefore, you have three equivalence classes: 0 < D, D < 0 and D = 0. The test values are input values for A, B and C that should be chosen regarding the three equivalence classes. A full test case setup should test all boundaries of the equivalence classes. –  darlinton Nov 11 '12 at 11:22
