Well, I have an AppWidget (with a AppWidgetProvider, of course), a configure Settings (where the user select the update rate between 5 minutes and 2 hours) and a Service, where the widget is updated.

What is happening is that if there is only one AppWidget on the home screen, everything works fine. But, if I put a second AppWidget on the home screen, both of them start been updated on the same time, with the same data (and it is a random data) and so on.

So, what do I have to do to correct that?

I saw a code in an answer of other post here on the StackOverflow, where the user said to create the Pen like this:

PendingIntent newPending = PendingIntent.getService(context, (int) System.currentTimeMillis(), intent, PendingIntent.FLAG_UPDATE_CURRENT);

Instead of:

PendingIntent newPending = PendingIntent.getService(context, widgetId, intent, PendingIntent.FLAG_UPDATE_CURRENT);

The problem is: once I create it like this, how do I cancel it later?

Solved it. It was a pretty stupid thing, actually. All that I had to do has replacing "manager.updateAppWidget(thiswidget, rv);" by "manager.updateAppWidget(widgetId, rv);". And, then, delete the line "ComponentName thiswidget = new ComponentName(context, WidgetProviderSmall.class);", that turned out to be useless. – Mario Cesar Nov 12 '12 at 2:22
