is there any tutorial about listView in corona?

I went here in corona sample codes but I'm having a hard time understanding it, can anyone give a link that teaches how to use a listView in corona? A tutorial about inserting an sqlite data to a listView would even better.

I've already seen that one, what I'm looking for is a step by step on creating a listView not the ones that are already created, I'm not really good with just reading, I prefer hands on. –  philip Nov 14 '12 at 4:43
    
Then for your information - There isn't any blog or example available rather than these links on global DB... I suggest you to follow any book of mobile development for this and I am sure that you will find good example on listview –  freak Nov 14 '12 at 4:51

this one's old school (no widgets), but I adapted it and it worked for what I need it to. http://www.coronalabs.com/blog/2010/09/24/create-scrolling-list-views-with-text-and-graphics-in-coronasdk-ios-android-tutorial/

I made the following changes after creating a new main.lua so I could storyboard to it. you should be able to copy and paste it over the main/lua to get a quick idea. you'll get errors because of missing images (I found larger versions of his coffee examples); you can just make a dummy image and duplicate and rename it six times. anyway...:

There has been new widgets lately in Corona SDK. For list views I currently use this one and this is quite easy to configure.

okay, so this one is state of the art, 2.0 compatible. it combines the best of the old school (pre-widget) code that I dropped above–based on Carlos' code and the list view code that comes in the Sample Code folder of the most recent version of Corona. it has the same image requirements as above to avoid errors. this can be saved as main.lua in the same folder as the suggested download above.

when you click a selection, you get a slide-in image and text explaining the image. the index also includes images like Carlos'...
