I'm having an error every time i click the undo and also redo, i don't know why i'm having this error

java.lang.IllegalStateException: Could not execute method of the activity.

can anyone please help me with this. Thanks in advance. Below is my code and its Error log

Your logCat points out a NullPointerException on line 246 of your code. I'm going to assume that is these lines:

public void onClick(View view){
    switch (view.getId()){
    case R.id.undoBtn:  
        mView.onClickUndo();
    break;

    case R.id.redoBtn:
        mView.onClickRedo();
    break;

The problem is, you didn't initialize mView. In the onCreate, you initialize a local variable myView in stead. Assigning that instance to mView should solve your problem.

Yes. I also think Paul-Jan is correct. Following line

final MyView myView = new MyView(this);

at onCreate method in Draw.java should be corrected with as just.

myView = new MyView(this);
