I'm trying to build an raw type BST, with Comparable<T>. The thing is somehow my declarations do something wrong, because I use in Node class type Comparable<type> and in BST class it errors with

The method setParent(Node<Comparable<Comparable<type>>>) in the type
Node<Comparable<type>> is not applicable for the arguments (Node<Comparable<type>>)

You should probably only have one Comparable in: public class Node <Type extends Comparable<Type>> and remove all the other occurences of comparable from your code... It is also standard to simply use T for the type. –  assylias Nov 15 '12 at 13:02

Consider to refactoring to the following code

(sorry for beeing offtopic) @RomanC could you please STOP making minor edits on other questions/answers like changing words to italic?
