This is a procedure to enable data insert into multiple tables. the code is shown below however it is saying that at line 44.16 musicdatabase.songs.songid is an invalid identifier.

Any reasons why this is throwing this message would be incredibly helpful.

All results are returned in uppercase. 95% sure that for this DB, the case is insensitive and is 'turned off'. –  Dynamo_David Nov 15 '12 at 13:33
    
Can you try qualifying the tables without the owner (musicdatabase). Btw: you can't "turn off" case sensitivitiy in Oracle. If you create a table using double quotes (") around the name it will be case sensitive. –  a_horse_with_no_name Nov 15 '12 at 13:36
    
still throws up the same error message of Error(43,16): PL/SQL: ORA-00904: "SONGS"."SONGID": invalid identifier same as before except the Owner not identified. –  Dynamo_David Nov 15 '12 at 13:42
    
ahh ok that is very helpful. Thankfully i didnt create any of my tables using (") so that would mean that the case sensitivity isnt relevant to the problem. Thanks for the advice though, i was unaware of the (") making casing sensitive. –  Dynamo_David Nov 15 '12 at 13:49
