I need to have the list of suggestions of cities/streets/villages while I am typing into the search bar. I found out that I have to implement contentProvider and I make it. Now, for everything I type, I get the same result:

"Search Result"

While Google Places should return the correct list of the locations. Can someone help me? How can I make my search work as it works on googlemaps? (I mean the suggestions, the Geocoder stuff is done already). Thanks a lot

Here is the Code Snippet Which i have Used when i have similar problem.

here is my PlacesAutoCompleteAdapter.java File.

here is What you have to do inside OnCreate() of your activity.

        autoCompView.setAdapter(new PlacesAutoCompleteAdapter(this,

here are the static Strings i have used in app.

i guess you have specified the list_item.xml as below.

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?>
<TextView xmlns:android="http://schemas.android.com/apk/res/android"
    android:layout_width="wrap_content" android:layout_height="wrap_content" />
