I am trying to place a small Input box inside my window, which is currently a window which is black.

my code is below, can someone tell me how I would go about entering the input box into the window, thank you

Call CreateWindowEx() with L"EDIT" as the window class name and with your main window as the parent. You probably also need to specify the X and Y positions (not just pass CW_USEDEFAULT), otherwise the textbox may not show up.
