I am working on a wx Python media ctrl for linux that uses gstreamer (sense the wx widgets version has to be custom compiled)... and well I discover gstreamer is either awful or just doesn't have good documentation because it is the most confusing thing ever. This is my current code and I think what I have to do is get the MESSAGE_TAG type message and do something from there but I am not quiet sure as of now and when I currently run it I get an error.


Adapts GStreamer to fit
    - Yes has a gstreamer backend
      but it is useless and well doesn't even work 
      because apparently the wx widgets C++ code
      needs to be compiled with gstreamer support
      now why they don't do that for the linux
      build that will be running on Linux with 
      a likely hood of using gstreamer I have no
      clue why but they don't.

Current Error

The program '' received an X Window System error. This probably reflects a bug in the program. The error was 'BadValue (integer parameter out of range for operation)'.
