I haven't had the chance to try this, but it looks so neat!

When using the async / await keywords, what does the compiler actually do to this method?

public async Task<int?> SumPageSizesAsync(IList<Uri> uris) { 
    try { 
        int total = 0; 
        var client = new HttpClient(); 
        var data = await client.GetByteArrayAsync(uri);            
        return data.Length; 
    catch (Exception) { 
        return null; 

Is he wrapping the whole thing into a managed thread? How is... But why...

Is the answer 42?! It's so awesome!!!! sorry :D
