I use the following features of Comsol in my work:

  1. I can use weak form and other forms of boundary value problems ( not only predefined modes like electrodynamics or heat transfer modes)
  2. An extrusion coupling variable maps values from the source domain to the destination domain using arbitrary coordinate transformation. (For example one boundary may have degrees of freedom but another boundary has no degrees of freedom and gets its values through interpolating date from the first boundary)
  3. Adaptive mesh can be used
  4. 2D and 3D problems can be solved

is there any C++, python or other language library having these features?

I am a newbie in this field but i found this wikipedia page - List_of_finite_element_software_packages - interesting

Not that I am aware of, but there is a book showing you how to do most of this in Java: "Programming Finite Elements in Java". It shouldn't be too much effort to convert this to C++
