I appear to be having problems with comparing objects within a set.
Everything works fine for adding items into a set, but when I try and use the set::find I recieve the errors below. I tried researching but cannot resolve this problem

Because It should be comparing the name string. These are only the class codes, I did not include int main. I can succefully add the customers to the set and when I print the set out, they are in alphabetical order. Its just the find command. I am having problems with the custom operators –  mattd7591 Dec 1 '12 at 1:23

To search a set, you have to pass in a instance of Customer and not a string. If you want to pass in only a string, you need to use std::map

To use what you have do this

customer help_customer;
help_customer.set_name("help");
it = patrons.find(help_customer);
