Here is the part of my code :

Am i doing something wrong here , everTime when i call repaint(Dimension), it calls PaintComponent(Graphics g) and first clear the jpanel backgroud. Please mention where is the problem.

I assume that it's a default behaviour that every time when paintComponent get called it first clear the screen and then start drawing. –  user1875455 Dec 13 '12 at 7:39

This is how AWT/Swing works. Everytime a repaint is called, AWT/Swing clears that region and starts drawing that region all the way from the bottom component to the top. Now if you have a slow machine, you can actually see this happen and this is called flickering. To avoid flickering in Swing try JPanel.setDoubleBuffered(true).
