I am trying to save values in an SQLite DB in Android, but I get an error...a snapshot is attached on the link below

Here is how I try to save in db

PS: this approach works when i use it without array.. –  RajuS Jan 1 '13 at 17:53

You are getting insertion error as data in the row gets conflicts. Try these and replace your insert code with these::

 chk = db1.insertWithOnConflict(manageAppDBHelper.TABLE2, null, values, CONFLICT_IGNORE);

Trying using SQLiteDatabase db2 = userInstance.getReadableDatabase() inside your getCodes() method OR SQLiteDatabase db2=this.getReadableDatabase() if you are implementing getCodes() method inside your class "manageAppDBHelper" OR SQLiteDatabase db2=new manageAppDBHelper().getReadableDatabase(). OR Double check that "dbHelper" is properly intialize or not? –  Vikalp Patel Jan 3 '13 at 5:38
