I am trying make a basic database with the SQLliteDatabase but It is keep giving me this error. I have been stuck for a very long time, i guess the mistake i make is very simple but I can not find it. If someone could help it would be GREAT

01-06 15:07:47.885: I/Database(1824): sqlite returned: error code = 1, msg = no such table: webpages
01-06 15:07:47.904: E/Database(1824): Error inserting id=1 phone=10001 name=Ivan

Just a suggestion. Have you changed the code since you originally created the database file? Perhaps the code is now correct, but you're still working with a database that was created without that table. Get rid of the file and try it from scratch. –  Scott Langham Jan 6 '13 at 15:22
    
try after changing ")" to ");" in CREATE_CONTACTS_TABLE String because table is not created –  ρяσѕρєя K Jan 6 '13 at 15:22
    
Also, try retrieving the db file and opening it with a SQLite viewer program and find out what tables are actually inside it. –  Scott Langham Jan 6 '13 at 15:23
    
put log.d in onCreate to check what actually string is setted in CREATE_CONTACTS_TABLE, try do the same thing in other cases with your table name –  deadfish Jan 6 '13 at 15:24

If you use Cursor, your table must has column = "_id", not "id"

to elaborate, cursor needs an _id, you may not need to change "id" to "_id", just use to query the id as _id..

String[] columns = new String[] {"id AS _id"};

that would make the query find "id" as "_id"
