I want to optimize my variable "w" by cvx code(by Stephen Boyd) which is added to matlab. my code is:

%%% MVDR is the name of my mfile

%   M=10 , X is a 10x1 complex vector , V_a is a 10x1 complex vector

ep=2.4;

    cvx_begin

    variable w(M) complex;

    minimize(norm(X'*w,2))

    subject to

          w'*(V_a)> ep*norm(w,2)+1

    cvx_end

%%%%%

but this error appears:

Error using cvx/gt (line 21)

Error using ge

Matrix dimensions must agree.

Error in MVDR (line 72)

          w'*(V_a)> ep*norm(w,2)+1

Please help me with this error, I don't know how to solve it.

So what are the dimensions of w'*(V_a) and ep*norm(w,2)+1? You may need to use dbstop if error – Dennis Jaheruddin Jan 7 '13 at 10:03
    
it's clear. w is 10x1 so w' is 1x10 then w'(V_a) is 1x1 and epnorm(w,2)+1 is 1x1 too. – sajad Jan 8 '13 at 12:40
