I have an Access report that generates invoices. I want to automatically save each invoice in a unique file as its generated. I had thought that the best approach would be to have the invoice be a subreport of a master report and link the CustomerID field. Each time the subreport is called, I would then save the invoice as a pdf. Unfortunately, I'm just getting a single file with all of the customers.

I have the save occurring in the Activate event in the subreport. Is there a different event I should be running this against?

iirc, i did this by printing the report to a pdf printer, rather than saving it as pdf. It was a while ago and i'm not at my work machine at the moment, so i may be wrong, but perhaps give that a try –  mcalex Jan 8 '13 at 16:58
