You want to use merge..

merge(dt, re, by.x= "Subject", by.y = "row.names" )

you can also use match

dt$re <- re[ match(dt$Subject, rownames(re) ) , "(Intercept)" ]
# the "(Intercept)" is whatever your column 
#                                        in re with the random effect is called
