I'm working on a Hadoop library for Haskell, but run into some problems with existential typing and type classes that I cannot seem to solve. My code is as follows:

When I try to load the above code I always get the following error:
No instances for (Showable k4, Showable v4, Parsable v1, Parsable k1) arising from a use of `runMapper' In the expression: runMapper m In an equation for `runJobIteration': runJobIteration (ConsJob (Iteration m r) _) 0 IterationMapper = runMapper m
I tried adding the typeclasses to the data constructors but that did not seem to work. I also tried to create AnyMapper data types that hide the types, but that did not work either. Anyone knows how I can solve this elegantly?
