I developed this application for android which sends a 1 and 0 via bluetooth to the bluetooth bee as its fixed device to connect to. Its suppose to control an external LED connected to UNO. But when i plug in the arduino to the power supply after uploading the program for the arduino, when i press on on the android app, no changes happen to the LED. I am wondering if i did not program the microcontroller correctly. Please help! >< Here are my codes for the app and the sketch for arduino. :

Just looking at the arduino code:

  • The read() function returns a char, not an int
  • I think the default Zigbee speed is 9600
  • Skip available(), just set char from read() and use that. The read() function is blocking and will just wait for the next byte to happen.
