This is a linkedList that have methods to modify the list.One of the things i have to do is :Change the LinkedList class into a generic collection similar to the java.util.ArrayList class. I dont know how to do that?

Really poor question. They are both collections. I believe you have to replace everywhere you see 'Object' with 'E' so that the java class can take the generic type it is declared with in the < >.
