I have to write a linked list for social security numbers and implement all the operation on my own. I wrote the Node class and the list but i am having trouble implementing the sortedGet(int index) method. What am i doing wrong in that method?

How do i remove a node from the list given the value of the node?

are you trying to get a certain node from the list based on index? –  SNpn Feb 11 '13 at 1:28
    
Its supposed to return the node that corresponds to that index. For ex. if index is 5 return the 5th node. I am using it in the sortedAdd method so i know where to insert the next node as this is a sorted list. –  Leon Feb 11 '13 at 1:28

The main problem I see is that you are iterating on the list by directly modifying the head instance variable, so the list gets modified while you iterate on it, you should use a local variable instead.

Jack i edited another method in the code for removing a Node. But it is not working as expected. Any suggestions on that one? –  Leon Feb 11 '13 at 3:01
