I don't know how to fix the error that I'm getting. My logcat output is shown below, and as people have requested, I've also included the code for the Playing.class

Okay, first off, it's only one error. And looking at the logcat, I'm guessing line 449 of Playing.java might be a for()statement, where you've put something like for(i = 0 ; i <= array.length() ; i++), which will produce an indexoutofbounds error as array indexes will be from 0 to 49, and you're trying to reference number 50 –  Matt Taylor Feb 11 '13 at 15:47

The exception is being thrown on Line 449 of your class Playing you can tell because going from the bottom up this is the last line before the stack trace is in java code.

My day is great, thanks for asking =) but the whole point of answering is to solve the problem. You've not, you're aiding the diagnosis. Save "answers" for what's going to eventually be marked as one - which you're correct, will be at line 449 of Playing.class. But until we see the code, it's impossible to answer @Manny 's problem (although as I've said in my comment, I've got a good suspicion) –  Matt Taylor Feb 11 '13 at 15:58

Your problem may occur any time you use this code:

int select = rand.nextInt(ar.size());
String random = ar.get(select);

What it does is generate a random number between 0 and the array size. However, if this returns an integer which is equal to ar.size(), trying to access this index will result in the IndexOutOfBoundsException which you are experiencing. This is because arrays are indexed from 0 (i.e. a 50 element array will have indexes 0 to 49, so if rand.nextInt returns 50, you get the error)

It's a simple fix:

int select = rand.nextInt(ar.size()-1);
String random = ar.get(select);
