Is there any query which can provide me signature details of a Function/Procedure. I am looking at return type, function name, argument types, whether IN/OUT/INOUT.

I am aware of this thread, but it provides only names

Here's a little script that produces PL/SQL function prototypes:

Thanks! A modified version of this has solved my requirement. Cade's answer was also fine, but this suited my use case better. There is a mistake in the query. You have used select *. It should be column names of the inner query –  rajesh Feb 15 '13 at 12:38

You can try:

SELECT object_name, argument_name, in_out, data_type
FROM user_arguments;

Or all_arguments, if you have the privileges
