Class MainWindow contains menu and functions to operate with images. There is a variable self.image = QtGui.QImage() that holds chosen picture. When I use QPixmap in MainWindow to display picture - it works. But I have class Splitter(QtGui.QWidget) with QGraphicsView and I'd like to display picture on this. I declared scene = QtGui.QGraphicsScene() inside Splitter class and tried this: Splitter.scene.addPixmap(QtGui.QPixmap.fromImage(image)) from inside of MainWindow class, but it doesn't work - AttributeError: type object 'Splitter' has no attribute 'scene'. What to do?

Solved! I moved what I could (almost everything) from MainWindow to Widget and after little changes in code everything works.
