# read in an initial value, output from the loop will become the initial value for the next i in the loop, then print values

I would like to read in an initial value, use that initial value to begin a loop. However, the output from the loop will become the initial value for the next i in the loop.

The initial value is WC(). Right now, my code is reading WC in as an array, with only the first i with a value (the rest is empty). It is not replacing the next WC value in the array each WC(i) loop output.

I am also having trouble printing Runoff and Percolation values. "invalid procedure, call or argument" error keeps showing on my print lines.

In the last index iteration and if block, it looks like your assignment is doing this: If WC(2) = WC(2) + Precip(2) + Precip(2) - RefET(2) / dz. Is this what you want here? – chuff Feb 22 '13 at 15:56
I would like it to print WC(i) as the value WC(i)+Precip(i)+RefET(i)/dz, then I would like this new value of WC(i) to become the new WC(j) in "While (WC(j) > pwp) And (j <= NumMonth)" – user1977802 Feb 22 '13 at 15:59

Are you sure you don't need something like: IF WC(j-1) < pwp THEN WC(j) = WC(j-1) + Precip(j-1) - Ref(i) / dz or something close to that. As I read it, you're not actually assigning the nth period WC value to the nth + 1 period. – chuff Feb 22 '13 at 16:16
