I got this piece of code from github, but I am not very familiar with c++. Can anyone help?

It's C++11 code, you need to compile with -std=c++11, for example: g++ main.cc -std=c++11 –  billz Feb 24 '13 at 2:44

Make sure you have quite new version of g++ and try adding -std=c++11 during compilation:

g++ -std=c++11 main.cc

You need to have at least g++-4.7 to make it work.

You GCC compiler is too old. You need the latest GCC 4.7 (or the soon to be released 4.8) –  Basile Starynkevitch Feb 24 '13 at 12:05
