I have a Microblaze build embedded on my Nexys2 that includes a uartlite port. I am trying to get this to communicate with an LCD screen, but haven't had any luck. Here is my code, can someone see any blaring errors? Also, the LCD calls for integers to be sent to it to set things such as backlight, cursor postition, etc. How do I do that? Sorry, I'm not too great with C.

I wish this site would get a more copy paste friendly code input... Many places use <code xxxx /code> and that's very effective. All my formatting was lost in the past. Sorry! –  Hollis Scriber Feb 26 '13 at 20:50
