I'm trying to add some Point Lights to a scene, but the scene stops rendering with the following error logged in the Console:

When I use Directional Lights or Spot Lights instead - the scene renders fine and I get no errors. Any ideas why may this be happening?

PointLights do not cast shadows in r.56.

This is your problem line:

ground.receiveShadow = true;

Also, make sure your lights are "above" your ground plane and your camera is looking in the right direction to see something.

camera.lookAt( scene.position );

For clarity, the PointLight isn't causing the problem, it's the lack of a shadow casting light. Adding a SpotLight to the scene will work, the PointLights may stay in place. I suspect the error is that an array of "shadow" lights is created, but it is empty. –  edA-qa mort-ora-y Jan 4 '14 at 5:41
