I'm new to Matlab and would greatly appreciate of someone could help! I calculated the values of my double Integral for different 'n'.

[Integral from 0 to 1][Integral from 0 to x^3] e^(y/x) dydx
>> n=1000;
>> x=rand(n,1);
>> y=rand(n,1);
>> z= ((y>0)&(y<x.^3));
>> k=z.*(exp(y./x));
>> ans = sum(k)/n      %sum(k) is the number of points within the graph

So the values of integral are:

 n=10     value= 0.2338                        
 n=50     value = 0.5873
 n=100    value =0.2749
 n=150    value =0.3330
 n=500    value =  0.3200
 n=1000   value =0.3540

How can i plot the graph and show the simulation with inbound and outbound points? Thanks in advance!

What dots? (x,y) combinations? just write plot(x,y) –  Dedek Mraz Mar 4 '13 at 16:45
